This web log (blog) is maintained by me, Aubrey Moore.  I am an extension entomologist working for the University of Guam Cooperative Extension Service which is part of the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.

At the moment this is a private, experimental blog.  I am evaluating its usefulness for my day-to-day professional activities.  Many of my posts are marked as private because they contain contact information for my clients and other information which should remain confidential.  These posts will be invisible to you.

My initial impressions:

  • Nice WYSIWYG editor with an option to work also in plain text HTML
  • Uploading individual images and groups of images for inclusion in posts is very easy; automatic thumbnailing is nice
  • Posts can be totally hidden by making them private or visibility of the body text can be hidden and shared only with selected readers by using password protection
